from 196 reviewsVery fun bike for trails and xc rides. Nice bikefor desert riding in Arizona.
Dave’s bikes never fail to impress. I’ve had a fleet of Turners so far in life and somehow he just keeps making them better. This Ti Cyclosys is such an awesome bike! Looks amazing and the difference in smoothness (coming from an aluminum Cyclosys) is pretty substantial. There is just something about Turner bikes, you just feel comfortable riding them. First ride on this thing and it just fit like a glove. Its gonna be a great summer on this thing! Thanks again Dave!
Great socks!….very cool to wear with my one day soon Turner DeWulf Ti cruiser Frame.
Very cool company that has great customer support. 🤙🏻
I am just so happy w my Turner Cyclosys in so many ways, I felt it deserves a review. I can easily say that this is the most capable, comfortable and best performing Ti. gravel bike I have ever owned. While my two prior, L-brand titanium gravel bikes were good. This Turner bike is easily the best. The reasons I like the bike are that it is so stable and forgiving w/out tendencies to bury the front wheel in sand & deep gravel, also very stable on washboard. How it does this without feeling sluggish or poorly responsive is a Cyclosys trait I love. When you purchase a Turner Cyclosys you are getting the benefit of David Turner's substantial background & knowledge on how to design and build a bike that will perform well off-road. David is not afraid to conduct years of development as needed to optimize his products. Indeed, he is known for this, and this bike's design has gone through multiple generations of refinement. Head tube angle, top tube length, chain stay length etc. are just so perfect on the bike in my opinion. I have been riding the Texas Hill Country 30 years mostly gravel for the last 5 years. Summary-I finally found the upscale performance I wanted without a big boutique bike price tag. I am right at 20#'s for size large frame, Enve fork, Enve 44 bars w Industry 9 alum. wheels, SRAM XPLR 1x, 700x45 rubber. One sweet ride for sure.
Don’t let the classic good looks fool you. DT has done it again! The DeWulf is trail machine and singletrack beast. Tight and twisty? No problem here. Fast and flowing? SAME! For me this is the best riding hardtail I’ve ever thrown a leg over. Not to XCish and not to trail focused as in not to LS. But if I had to put this bike into a category (XC, trail etc) I’d simply say it’s a mountain bike!
If you've been fortunate to own a Turner over the years, ANY Turner, you understand why these reviews are so glowingly positive ! I've had... four (if you count my K2 Razorback!) ... and this Nitrous, for my style of riding here at age 70, is the pinnacle. Expertly built up with super components, from the electric shifting SRAM gearing, to the Onyx/Berd/WeAreOne/Tufo wonderfuly light and responsive wheels, to this latest dropper from OneUP - what a JOY to venture out on this new Turner Nitrous !!! Thank you Dave for the incredible bikes you've given us all, and for being the guy you are !

I saw a video review on You Tube, Hard Tail Party and he was so impressed with the bike....so in order to feed my Titanium fetish.... I'm not a technical rider and I'm sure others will have better input on the frame. Build quality is perfect, nice welds, rear droputs durable looking, looks like internal seat tube has internal bracing, three sets of water bottle holders. Nice to have internal routing makes the build so clean. Headtube is nice. Super short seat tube. Low top tube which I like. BIke handles well and IMHO quickness in steering can be adjusted via stem choice. Responsive to weight placement.
Not many will choose a fixed seat post, but I prefer one...just be mindfull you will need a long seat post due to the short seat tube...I needed a 475mm post....which wasn't easy to find..especially in titanium....but David is working on supplying one in the future.. This won't matter to many people as most will choose a dropper.
David is super responsive and seemed to value my input,,, who does that???!!!
I believe that this is Turner #7 between Suebee and I. I know my way around building out a bike, but there are always options that I prefer to discuss. DT was always on point for a lengthy conversation that went off the deep end. Much of which was about aging not so gracefully as a lifelong cyclist. Tinnitus & shoulder surgery were commingled with stem length, wheels and bar manufactures. God, I love those conversations!
Onto the bike… that moment that you sling a leg over it and clip in for the neighborhood shakedown and find yourself at home before the driveway ends is what I come to expect. The bike is on point. Although I have yet to delve into the meaty trails, I am confident the bike will deliver.
This frame is building up really nicely. I’m doing the build myself, and I appreciate the clever cable routing ports which do make running internal cables much easier. I have 2.4” Ardent tires on at this point, and they fit with lots of space for mud. I have a 140 Revelation fork on it, which feels awesome so far on my test rolls. I’m still waiting on cranks, brakes and free hub body to complete the build. Can’t wait for drier trails to try the Nitrous!

This bike is an absolute joy! It rekindles the essence of why I fell in love with mountain biking. The experience it offers is nothing short of exhilarating. Surprisingly, despite my initial concerns, I am far less battered after rides. It has changed some of my views of full suspension! The combination of its 29er wheels, titanium frame, turbo light inserts, and lower tire pressure results in a winning formula. Riding it is effortless, and I'm particularly amazed by its descending capabilities—it's an absolute thrill! I'm sending smaller jumps, just ensuring perfect landings on the backsides. The bike's speed is remarkable even when I'm not pushing it. Within just a week of owning it, I've achieved several Strava PRs and even a few top 10 spots, which, considering my age of 52, flat pedals, and being out of biking shape, speaks volumes. My dogs are wondering about the uphill drug that I am on—haha! This bike represents a significant step in the right direction. Its inherent lightness initially feels almost unnatural (having been institutionalized to heavier bikes), but you quickly adapt and come to appreciate it. Even loading and unloading it from the truck bed is a breeze due to its lightweight.
It took some time to fine-tune the cockpit setup, but ultimately, I've found that a 35mm rise bar paired with a 50mm stem provides the perfect balance of roominess and confidence-inspiring control.
The various responses on MTBR from DT over the past few years, along with several frame reviews, heavily influenced my decision to purchase this bike. I appreciate all of these comments so I could make an informed purchase!
Throughout the purchase and the build, DT answered my questions quickly and thoughtfully - thanks!
The bike came out fantastic! I love its look, and the pink makes it stand out. I have gotten lots of kudos (which is all that matters—haha)!
I couldn't be more delighted! It has reignited a newfound passion for biking within me again, which is truly remarkable!
Had to wait because the frame was on backorder and totally worth it! Such a beautiful piece. I am not sure if it was really Dave Turner who emailed me back but they were quick and friendly. It is my first Ti frame and I am so so happy with my purchase! I don't have a picture of my final build but I went with SID 120mm fork, BERD wheels, AXS XO1 drivetrain. So much fun!
The scrub frame is beautiful. Workmanship is top notch. The bike is still being built up at the bike shop, so ride reports will follow. Thanks!
These Tee’s are fantastic. Very comfortable and form fitting.
I look faster when i wear it.
Let me know when XXL comes in. Thanks again
Nice to have a spare derailleur hanger along for the ride . We have two older sultans that we enjoy riding in the woods ,but we don’t want to experience the walk out with a broken bike.
