Our titanium waterbottle cages are specifially designed to reduce bottle loss through excessive flex and the titanium material offers a cleaner grip. We use a specific diameter and wall thickness Grade 9 tubing and then we spec'd a thicker base plate.
The tubing and base plate are finely brush polished instead of bead blasted...why would we spend more money just to finish a bottle cage?! Because bead blasting metal cannot be 'touched up'! We include a Scotchbrite pad so that marring and scratches will always be able to be buffed out. Unlike a bead blasted finish which cannot be blasted back to like new.
Like all our designs, we make choices to enhance the long term durability and appearance of Turner Bike products.
The mounting plate is slotted so that you can dial in the location.
