VENN: Do Everything Bike

The Titanium Venn bike, aptly named VENN, exceeds expectations with its advanced features like UDH, T-type, tapered head tube, and custom-formed tubing, perfect for bikepacking adventures, trail rides, gravel-gnar and float biking.  Its versatile geometry offers a modern edge with external cable mounts for easy maintenance. Combining new-school innovation with an old-school twist.

Like the venn diagram, the Venn from Turner Bike is a confluence of ideas. Geometrically, this is at the cross roads of the latest, longer lower slacker, and the geometry of the past when titanium bikes ruled the trails. If the longer, lower slacker geometry revolution is not working for you, but you know improvements have been made over the last 20 years,,, the Venn is the intersection of geometric ideas that will offer the performance improvement you have been looking for. Another overlapping of ideas: drop bar or flat bar?!  The top tube has been pulled back just far enough to allow a mid length stem and a flat bar. This geometry combined with a little more stem length create a steering feel that doesn't require yogi-esque flexibility and enduro pro angulation, another benefit is that your position will be more upright.  Venn wise, you also have the option of a drop bar used with a short stem. It seems that every other week there is a new 'alt drop bar' with short reach, shallow drop and some great curvy features for the mountain pedaler.

The Venn being more adventurous than any of the Turner Bikes has full compliment of threaded inserts welded into the frame. Oh, and lets not overlook the FULL external cable routing, just what you need if repairs are needed way out past the edge of phone reception!

The slider dropouts offer 25mm of fore/aft travel. For the Venn rider using gears this allows for a broken drive train to be turned into a single speed so you can skip the long walk home! Sliders also allow a lot of adjustments for tire size, slid all the way back it will take 29x3" tire, and with every smaller size tire the slider can be moved forward keeping more weight on the rear tire. Or not.. It's all up to you.

Voila Venn!  With a nicely curved flat bar, this will bring a bit of modern geometry to your trail without being too long, too slack and too low. With an alt drop bar, the Venn is a bike far more capable than any gravel bike when the going gets rough. As it is able to fit up to 29x3" tires and a 120-130mm suspension fork, it can be that multiple hand position bike you didn't think was possible.

Features

CUSTOM SHAPED TITANIUM TUBESET

Subtle shaping at the lower end of the Down Tube to the spread load over the BB shell and a dramatically flared Seat Tube both increase lateral rigidity for better feel when smashing the pedals. Along with the custom tapered chainstays, these subtle features set the Turner Ti ahead of the pack when it comes to ride tuning.

DESIGNED IN THE USA

Every aspect of this Turner Ti frame is designed and engineered in the USA. From the gorgeous CNC tapered head tubes to the proprietary dropouts, we have designed every aspect of the frame.

As you probably figured out from the great price and long list of standard features, this frame is imported.  What drew us to this factory was their ability to taper and create butted titanium tubing, and their massive CNC capabilities allowing us to create exactly what we wanted with out cookie cutter head tubes, bottom brackets and dropouts. Even our chainstay bridge is CNC out of billet to be super thin and not create a mud shelf!

T47 BB

‘T’ stands for threaded! Due to popular demand threads are back, and the new T47 offers bigger bearings & longer service life than older threaded standards. It will easily fit the larger and 30mm aluminum spindle creating a stiffer crank assembly, which is up to 18% lighter than the traditional steel spindle system.
