Gila
Single Speed optimized, but not SS exclusive! Yes, it has an awesome slider with 25mm of fore/aft travel to manage your single speed addiction in style. There are stealth cable routing points for a rear derailleur and the Boost 148mm sliders are compatible with any Universal Derailleur Hanger or T-type rear derailleur so you can convert any time you need to start shifting. For the style obsessed, we ship it with a custom machined UDH without the derailleur 'hanger' tab, which looks super clean for those of us with S.S.O.C.D.
New for 2025 are optional 142mm spec sliders for those that want to use non-boost wheels!
The GILA was designed to be a SS PR machine. Because of the amount of standing we all do on a SS, the seat angle is a bit steeper than it's sister the Nitrous... which makes getting out of the saddle quickly a little easier when trying to keep on top of the gear.

CUSTOM SHAPED TITANIUM TUBESET
Subtle shaping at the lower end of the Down Tube to the spread load over the BB shell and a dramatically flared Seat Tube both increase lateral rigidity for better feel when smashing the pedals. Along with the custom tapered chainstays, these subtle features set the Turner Ti ahead of the pack when it comes to ride tuning.
DESIGNED IN THE USA
Every aspect of this Turner Ti frame is designed and engineered in the USA. From the gorgeous CNC tapered head tubes to the proprietary slider dropouts, we have designed every aspect of the frame.
As you probably figured out from the great price and long list of standard features, this frame is imported. We found this factory when we were producing the carbon Flux frames years ago. Soon after we started developing the first Ti Cyclosys with them. Our frames are not the first or the only Ti bicycle frames they build, as they are a factory long known for building world-class titanium mountain and road frames. What drew us to this factory was their ability to taper and create butted titanium tubing, and their massive CNC capabilities allowing us to create exactly what we wanted with out cookie cutter head tubes, bottom brackets and dropouts. Even our chainstay bridge is CNC out of billet to be super thin and not create a mud shelf!
T47 BB
‘T’ stands for threaded! Due to popular demand threads are back, and the new T47 offers bigger bearings & longer service life than older threaded standards. It will easily fit the larger and 30mm aluminum spindle creating a stiffer crank assembly, which is up to 18% lighter than the traditional steel spindle system.

Went for the first ride today! F’in awesome. I was actually a bit nervous as it’s been a few years since I’ve had a dedicated SS MTB so feeling relatively strong and being strong… 2 totally different things
It passed the Marincello fire road climb test. It’s a 3-mile long 9/10% average grade with a few short pitch’s that approach 20%. A roughly 800ft climb that’s loose gravely small rock over hard pack. My fears were warrantless. I had wonderful traction the whole time. Don’t think the rear spun up once the whole way running 32x18 gearing. Acceleration was lively and I felt comfortable in and out of the saddle. If I wanted to step up the pace the bike responded immediately.
After the climb is a short ridge ride on a single track that culminates in a sketchy loose steep drop down a rocky outcropping that requires some quick trajectory changes in awkward circumstances but also needs a stable bike to not stick or wash the front. A lot of hardtails have trouble dropping this section confidently. I cleaned it with pure confidence and a smile even though the fog was blowing me sideways.
Then a short fast fire road drop to a ripping ever steeper washed out single track that becomes a waterfall at the bottom every winter. This bike just ate up all the rough stuff. Don't thing I've ever ridden a bike that felt somehow equally stiff and compliant at the same time. Ti truly is a magical frame material if done right.
Very happy with the bike. It’s a keeper. Thanks again
I cant rave enough about how amazing the Gila has been for me. The fit and finish are meticulous and the bike built out so exceptionally well. The aesthetics are unmatched, I initially thought about painting my frame when ordering it, but as soon as I had my hands on it I knew I couldnt. Its a work of art as is. The sliding rear dropouts are beefy in all the right places and using and aligning them is very intuitive. While I'm still toying with cockpit length via stem and bars and stack height, I've gotten 3 good rides on the frame before coming back to review and can say, without a doubt, this is the funnest bike I've ever owned. And being singlespeed freiendly makes it all the better. Having come from a weak, eccentric bottom bracket singlespeed prior, I can really appreciate the external T47 BB's strength and size, and the tension being done at the axle feels far more rigid. The added bonus of tire clearance to go into true 29+ size categories makes room for even more fun.As a life-long SingleSpeed rider, I'm grateful for the team at Turner Bikes for keeping us up-to-date with the Gila.
Recently built this frame up and loving it. I have been wanting a ti SS frame for awhile now and finally found what I was looking for. Love the geometry and feel of this frame. Modern enough geo that still gives confidence in the rough stuff but can carve and climb with precision. Finally have my forever bike. Also want to say Dave is the best and was very helpful during my build. He responded quickly to all my questions and offered great advice. Best customer service ever. If you are thinking about this frame, pull the trigger. You won’t be disappointed!
Gila
The turner Gila is probably my favorite bike I’ve ever owned. I’ve been riding it for about 4 months now. It soaks up chunk like no hardtail I’ve been on. I’m in my sixties now so I need a bike that’s forgiving. The ti handlebar is surprisingly supple. My wrists are happy. The steeper seat stay makes it easy getting up and down off the saddle. I’m mostly a single speeder but it’s super easy to change it over to eagle axs when I’m coaching NICA kids. This bike has rejuvenated me. I’m climbing and descending like in my younger days. Love it.
