I'm really liking this bike, so far.The welds are really clean everything from the headtube to the bottom bracket. Machining fit all the parts really well with one exception. And I don't know if this is tolerance stacking or not. I had to shim the rear brake rotor by 1 mm to move the rear brake rotor outboard to get the brake to not rub on the brake pads. The brake caliper was moved inboard on the mounting bosses 100% maxed out. There's quite a bit of lateral adjustment on these brake mounting bosses on the rear, a little confused why I'm maxed out, I personally think that the mounting bosses could have been welded a little bit more inboard to maximize the adjustment. I am using good quality components. SRAM AXS rival xplr full mount, 9Vello Wheels w/ H works hubs, supplied cane creek headset. With a shim behind the rear brake rotor seems to center fine and the rubbing seems to be eliminated. SRAM is notorious for close brake pad contact. So any little rubbing that may come and go, albeit extremely annoying, I think is sram's issue. Also had to face the rear brake caliper mounting bosses a little bit to level them off. They weren't terrible but my OCD kicked in. The front enve adventure fork fit really nice. Setting the crown race was a little tricky, not Turner's fault. Might be an enve thing. Once I got it together, everything runs smoothly. Running 50 mm Continental Terra adventure and there's plenty of room. You easily could run 2.1 mountain bike tires on this setup as Turner claims so tire clearance is accurate. Also notice there's a lot of clearance between the tire and the seat tube which is nice, one of my buddies has a ti frame and his clearance is like 1 mm with 50 mm tires. I'm very happy that I have six or seven on 50 mm, so if I go bigger I'll have plenty of clearance between the tire and the seat tube. Riding the bike It tracks really well and I can easily ride with no hands even on gravel terrain. And that's in the stock configuration on the ENVE fork. I'm assuming it will get better if I flip the chip. The only real issue was the rear flat mount break mounting bosses. Your mileage may vary on this depending on what components you choose. The last note is the rear axle is 16 Nm. That's Turner's spec on their axle they provide seems quite high. I thought maybe that was the issue for part of my rotor spacing problem that I ran into. But I had that torqued down to spec. Everything else was to spec on the derailleur and still could not get the spacing correct without a shim. I will continue enjoying this rig. Took it on some oops, I found myself on a mountain bike trail route and it handled it very well.

David, THANK YOU. David was extremely helpful and his expertise is extensive. He gave me the best and honest advice even if it was contrary to what I was thinking. He was spot on. I was amazed that when I asked a question on the weekend he got back to me VERY quickly. I was so impressed I have purchased 2 frames (Cyclosys and Nitrous). The Cyclosys arrived quickly and was spotless. The build is almost complete. Hope to post some picks with the Garbaruk parts soon. Other manufacturers take note, this is how you do it!

Perfect geo, Perfect compliance on small bumps. I have about 800 miles on my Cyclosys since June and I can't be happier. I mated it with a Rudy 30mm and have been riding a TON of single track on it as well as gravel, and pavement. Absolutely impressive how it eats up small bumps.... super fast in all environments. Most of all it is a Mountain Bikers gravel bike! Thanks Dave!

I rode and raced my Turner Cyclosys this past weekend up at Grinduro . . . and I’m impressed! I only have my previous OPEN Up to compare it to (which the OPEN is definitely more closely related to road bike geo). The Turner is what I was looking for - slightly slacker, slightly longer, slightly taller stack. My most fun gravel days are ripping mountain fire roads and searching out flowy singletrack, underbiking a bit. This frame delivered. Stable, but not sluggish. So much fun! Have always been curious about Ti and happy to put more miles on this rig. Dave is an excellent communicator with any question or detail!
