QUALITY WITHOUT COMPROMISE
THE FOCUS OF TURNER BIKES SINCE 1994
Since our founding, these words have been the guiding principles that define Turner Bikes. An ongoing process of honing, evolving, and refining the way our bikes ride. Let's ride towards a future where quality knows no compromise.
Let customers speak for us
from 261 reviewsSo after breaking my hand and wrist in a motorcycle accident six weeks ago, I eagerly awaited being able to get back on my MTB. My first ride was on my regular set up 2 days ago, Enve carbon bars with Wolf Tooth fat foam grips, trying to smooth out the ride after battling hand numbness for the last couple of years. Then the Turner titanium bars arrived in time for my second ride….. huge difference!
Not only did my healing hand and wrist feel way more comfortable than the day before, (same trails ) I realized at the end of the ride I’d experienced zero numbness. With the same grips, this difference was all down to the titanium bars.
The finish is beautiful with subtle logos, now I want them for all my bikes! Highly recommended.

I'm glad there is still support for these aging frames

This bike is just right as a single speed, and I'm convinced that it would also be outstanding if it were geared. I'm not just gushing because it's a new bike, it really is phenomenal! The power transfer is dialed in, the lack of weight is a recurring surprise, and there are no weird sounds from the frame. I would describe the ride as compliant, not harsh. The maneuverability through its geometry fits the riding needs of anyone wanting to enjoy the trail. Plus it just looks so clean!

I have many years of experience riding many different mountain bikes, but I am a novice at building up a bike from the frame, so I was a little nervous giving this a shot. I wanted an end-game hardtail and I suspected the Turner Nitrous would be it. Not only is the final build everything I thought it was going to be, I am also left feeling incredibly satisfied to have assembled the bike myself. I couldn’t have done this without the support and guidance of David Turner, who is not only a remarkable frame builder, but an incredible model for customer support and care for his product and clients.
Now about the bike. It rides like no other hardtail in that it covers so much ground. It’s a cross country-ish bike, it’s a trail bike, it’s a dirt jump bike…ultimately it’s just a perfect hardtail. It has an incredibly well-balanced weight distribution that spreads out my 178lb, 6’1” body over a large frame perfectly. It is supple but also incredibly snappy and responsive, kind of an elusive characteristic in a bike (usually have to sacrifice one). It shreds but it also keeps you comfortable on long grinds and climbs.
The build includes a RS Sid Ultimate 120mm fork, Shimano XT component group, Logos carbon wheels, Girder carbon cranks, OneUp Dropper post and a 35mm Industry nine stem (usually 35mm feels to short to me, but on this relatively long bike its perfect).
I can’t say enough about my experience, from purchase, to consultation with Turner bikes, to the fun factor with the ride. I have reached hardtail perfection!

The Gila is perfect for it's intended purposes, plus quite a bit more! As a single speed, this bike is just right, (and it would also be great geared). I'm not just gushing because it's a new bike, it really is phenomenal. The power transfer is dialed in, the lack of weight is a recurring surprise, and it rode more supple than harsh. The maneuverability through its geometry fits the riding needs of...forever.

Before I get to the bike itself, I have to say working with DT was nothing short of exceptional. He truly represents the reason why I've been hooked on mtb'ing for 35 years. Awesome service! Now the bike. Being a hardtail fanatic, I've been searching for a do it all hardtail. Something i can ride from my house to the trailhead without taking my soul from me, then rallying it on technical, rocky singletrack. This Scrub is a great! I think you're missing out on the heart of mtbing if you don't own a Scrub. Just my .02 cents. Forgiving, fast, and seriously fun. You'll probably even gain friends by owning one!

I ordered a QR Derailleur Hanger along with a DW-Link rebuild kit. The order was promptly shipped, which is my usual experience with Turner Bikes, and came with a pair of gifted socks. Thanks again Dave!

Bent derailleur hanger and needed to be replaced. Easy to find and quick delivery very pleased with the total experience.

I received the frame and upon opening the box it felt like I was opening the Ark of the Covenant. White doves flew out of the box, an aura exploded from the top of the box and the presence of frankincense and mir permeated. That may have all been in my mind but I swear it felt like that. The small details in the etching to the head tube badge makes it feel world class. Most importantly David himself going back and forth in email with me to make sure everything was what I needed was just one amazing experience. Maybe he is the Messiah?

Terrific bike! Road, gravel, commute - You name it, this bike does it. Supple, comfortable and fast. I use this bike for everything. 6' with a size large. Fits perfectly.

I have been riding road bikes for close to 50 years and have had more than my share of great steel bike (Columbus, Reynolds 531 and 753) and have really enjoyed all of them. Around 2010 I moved up to a Look carbon and then to a Giant TCR, all great rides. Then I heard about "endurance" type bikes and the benefits of a more relaxed ride for older riders. I have known the Turner crew for many years and had purchased some the MTB bikes and loved the quality of those bikes. A loyal Turner employee Greg Wulff suggested a Cyclosys Ti and after some serious consideration I pulled the trigger and man am I happy I did. I had it put together with Shimano di2 11 speed, 50/34 crankset, Knight carbon wheels and Continental 32mm GP5000TR set up tubeless, WTB saddle, carbon seat post and Cadex 46cm carbon bars and stem. Well, here we over 5,000 miles later and I still love it as much as the first day I rode it. The ride is so smooth, and the geometry is absolutely perfect for my longer endurance type rides. I would do it all over again. I am planning on using for RAGBRAI 2025. Thank you Dave Turner!!

This is an absolute home run from Turner Bikes, A beautiful sculpted custom titanium tube set packed with modern geometry and a lot more.
The build quality and all the detail exceeds the competition and you have to get your hands on this frame to truly appreciate it.
I couldn’t be more thrilled with the Nitrous and the outstanding customer service from the legend David Turner! He truly cares about his customers!
Turner Bicycles changed the Game. Get 0ne!

Excellent service with prompt reasonable postage. Great that Turner still provides parts for +10 year old bikes!

I’m really loving this frame, it was easy to buildup, I transferred most of my parts except the seat post, it was smaller (210 mm dropper) and the headset was a different size and the bottom bracket. Internal routing was a breeze. The welds are stunning. I went with the large although i’m 5.10” I’m glad I did. As soon as I hit the dirt I felt comfortable on the bike. It rides friggen awesome!, climbs and tackles tech with aplomb, rails down tech holds swooping corners fast and drama free. If you’re looking for a Single Speed bike or frame in Ti this one is among the rare special frames at a reasonable price, it feels like you ordered a custom frame. Dave Turner knows how to design and build great bikes.

Celebrating my one-year anniversary with this amazing bike. Dave was super helpful in ensuring the bike was set up correctly for me. I am 6’2” and he determined the LARGE was the appropriate size. He was spot on. I feel very comfortable on this bike and have completed a season of both gravel and cyclocross racing and well as some epic gravel riding in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. The Cyclosys performed flawlessly!
Dave - Thanks so much for all your support!
