Description

There has been more than a couple comments bandied about on the interweb that modern gravel bikes are nothing more than mountain bikes from the early '80s.... But do we really think that squirelly geometry numbers with 26x2.1"  tires filled with flat prone tubes,  cantilever brakes that suck as soon as the rims are wet or bent, and drivetrains that were constantly dropping chains are equal to a modern, ANYTHING?  Of course not. But what 40 year old mountain bikes and modern gravel bikes have in common is adaptability. A gravel bike is truly the modern All Terrain Bike.  Early mountain bikes were also much more ATB than MTB. The beauty of a modern gravel bike is that it is designed to be an ATB, All Terrain Bike. It can be ridden on some pretty rough terrain, especially when shod with larger tubeless tires, slowed down by powerful and predictable disc brakes.  Want to crank out a muli day tour? A gravel bike can do that as they have rack mounts and plenty of attachment points. Or,  drop on some smaller, smoother tires and go train with the road riders in your town. All Terrain Bike.

The Cycloysys

Tire clearance up to 700x45 or 650x52 allows for some pretty capable tires to be installed and with these types of bikes, tires define the ride. The Cyclosys is optimized for tires 35-45mm. Change the tires, change the personality of the bike.

Really, at the heart of the Cyclosys is a love of adventure and a desire to enjoy every ride to its fullest. Perfectly tuned for hours and hours of dirt roads or jamming through your favorite single track.   The newest version of the Cyclosys cannot be defined as anything other than balanced.

Is the Cyclosys perfect for a local gravel ride / race? How about ripping the local single track that has become mundane on your full suspension mountain bike? Or you scored an entry and are heading to Kansa this year? We think so...
