First off, this is a beautiful frame. Great details, perfect welds.
For me, the Geometry is perfect. Not a slacked out "hardcore hardtail", not a steep XC bike. Perfect for the long rides with mixed technical terrain that I love.

After a few rides I am even more smitten. Smooth and fast and very capable. I set mine up with a belt drive and the combo of titanium and belt drive are so smooth and quiet. The handling is so spot on that I felt immediately comfortable and confident on this bike.

Have only been able to ride my new nitrous a few times so far due to the weather in my area.
When the weather breaks I will have a full review, but out of the gate I can say this is the best climbing bike I’ve ever ridden and I’ve ridden a few,
I’ve built up the frame after getting all the components together and I’m looking forward to be able to experience its full potential.

So happy with my nitrous. David was a great help in the process and surely made the build much smoother. Out here in the Mojave desert I’m running 120 mm Sid with 2.4 syerra’s and a vittoria airliner xc light insert in the rear. I can run lower psi and man it really screams. Little slacker HT angle helps with the chunk. Climbs like a goat and handles so intuitively. Love it. Thanks David.

Startlingling different and better than the aftermarket item I bought in the UK when the original was damaged.

I built my 2024 Nitrous with David's generous guidance as a fast and light XC rig.  The frame is gorgeous and the ride is smooth and fast.  The Nirous is an exceptional climbing machine that is thoroughly capable in all terrain in northern NM I have ridden in the last 6 months.  The motto may be N+1, but when N=1 this bike makes me really happy I bought it, as it does everything so well. David is a gem of a human being and his bikes are beautiful, tough, and well executed.

I’ve owned probably as many as a dozen Turner Bikes over the past twenty years. Well designed rides that always please. My long time loves are my 2012 Sultan that I converted to a 27.5 mid-fat and my 2015 King Khan. As amazing as the bikes are, Turner service has always been, and continues to be, second to none. Quick turn around and never a hiccup. I’ve owned several nice carbon fiber bikes from Santa Cruz, Pivot, and Yeti, in more recent years and keep going back to my Sultan. And thank god for Dave who keeps providing me with the parts needed to keep it riding like new.

Dave is spot on with the geometry of this bike. I wasn’t sure if I should get a medium or a large but after telling him my height and road bike size, Dave recommended a large. I guessed that a shorter (80mm) stem would be good and it was! First ride was on the farm roads in southern Illinois and I could not be more stoked. The comfort of titanium and 45c tires made short work those loose gravel roads. If you are a “gravel curious” mountain biker, look no further. This is the one!

The bike rides like a dream. Geometry is spot on and UDH and T47 BB keep it up to date.

I’ve had my Nitrous for a few months, and plenty of solid rides. This bike is really a sweet spot of light, stiff, compliant and perhaps most importantly, competent. More specifically, this bike is not the superlative of any of the aforementioned qualities, but a master blend of them. The result is a wonderful bike up for an engaging experience on XC and flat to hilly trails especially where the speed is more rider than gravity. I can’t say enough as to how dialed this is for back country rake and ride trails, especially on challenging rocky / rooty trails style stuff.

Attention to detail is excellent here, and clearly the product from someone who knows their stuff and is also generous with his knowledge. I expect to spend many years of great riding with this bike! Thanks Dave!

I'm a service manager at a bike shop. I had a customer bring in an older Turner asking me to do a full overhaul. I reached out to Turner to make sure I got the correct linkage service kit on order and Dave Turner himself responded to me. After the purchase he reached out again to see if I had any questions and even sent me torque specs for each bolt in the frame. 10 our of 10. Great customer experience.
